Arts-based Courses

IFA can design specific arts-based courses for your educational institution to involve your students in the creative processes of the arts and other cultural expressions. These courses can be tailored to cover a variety of themes from creativity, arts and aesthetics to leadership and management. We organise customised courses that enable the arts to enrich various streams of education.

Some of our previous offerings have included conducting and managing the following courses:

  • Leadership, Culture and Communications – Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad.
The Leadership, Culture and Communication course was designed to allow students to explore and discover the concept of leadership and heroism. Students met leaders from the arts, corporate and government sectors, who shared their own leadership journeys which touched upon their successes and failures, doubts and decision-making, managing people and creating value.
  • Tracking Creative Boundaries course (TCB) – Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B)
The Tracking Creative Boundaries course was designed to provide students with an opportunity to interact with and learn from the creative biographies of artists who were drawn from theatre, cinema, poetry, drama, music and dance, and other cultural expressions.

IFA managed and conducted the TCB course at IIM-B for nine years, where it has been voted by students as the best elective course for a record three years in a row.
