For the implementation of a Foundation Project by IFA that will engage fifth grade students of the Government Model Higher Primary School Taranagar, in Sandur taluk, Ballari District. Titled Bayalata Patya Samyojita Prayoga – Bayalata Curriculum Integrated Experiment, this 15-month initiative aims to encourage creativity, collaboration, and communication, transforming learning into a joyful and meaningful experience. The outcome of this project will be performance. The Project Coordinator’s deliverables to IFA with the final report will be copies of the photographs, and the video documentation of the entire project. Project funds will pay for contract fees, performance, materials, travelling and living.
For a wide-ranging engagement with students of the Government Kannada Boys Modern School in Kunigal taluk near Tumakuru district to develop a theatre script by exploring the history of their 88-year-old school which brought education to the region. The students will collate stories about the school from alumni, teachers and community members, and also be introduced to the folk dance form Kolata which they will explore through texts in their syllabus. The outcome will be a performance. The Grantee's deliverables to IFA with the Final Report will be photographs and video documentation of the project. Grant funds will pay for costs towards an honorarium, performance, professional fees, documentation, travel, printing, workshop, and an accountant’s fee.
