Arti Kirloskar

Arti Kirloskar is a trustee of Kirloskar Foundation, which works in the field of hygiene education and supporting education of underprivileged children.

She is the Convenor of Kirloskar Vasundhara film festival, an environment film festival being run in Pune and 20 other cities for more than 10 years.  Arti was the past Convenor of, and current Patron of the Intach Pune chapter, which works to conserve and protect our heritage.

Arti is an artist and has recently showed her work along with seven other artists from Pune at the Kochi Biennale 2016. 

Vivek Shanbhag

Vivek Shanbhag is a writer who has published five short story collections, three novels and two plays in Kannada.

From 2005 to 2012, he published and edited the literary journal Desha Kaala.

Vivek’s works are translated into many other Indian languages, and have appeared in Granta, Seminar, Indian Literature and Out of Print. He was a Fall 2016 resident at the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa.

Pramit Jhaveri

Pramit Jhaveri is the CEO of Citi India. Prior to this, he was the Head of Global Banking and Vice Chairman of Asia Investment Banking, responsible for Citi’s Global Banking business in India.

Pramit is a member of Citi’s Asia Pacific Executive Committee, and on the Managing Committee of the Indian Banks Association.

He is also on the Executive Board of the Indian School of Business and on the Advisory Committee of Habitat for Humanity, American India Foundation and Catalyst India.

Sajan Poovayya

Sajan Poovayya is the Founding Partner at the Indian, national law firm of Poovayya & Co. He was named one of Asia's leading attorneys in the areas of media, telecommunication and technology.

Prior to this, Sajan practiced law in India and in England as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales.

He is a fellow of the Society for Advanced Legal Studies, London. 

Shubha Mudgal

Shubha is an acclaimed musician and versatile performer trained by heavyweights in the field like eminent scholar-musician-composer Pandit Ramashreya Jha ‘Ramrang’, Pandit Vinaya Chandra Maudgalya and Pandit Vasant Thakar, Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki, Pandit Kumar Gandharva and Naina Devi.

A former member of the Central Advisory Board of Education constituted by the Government of India, Shubha has been closely involved with several projects related to music education in India. 

She has received many prestigious awards including the Padma Shri, in 2000.  

Ashoke Chatterjee

Ashoke served as Executive Director, Senior Faculty, Distinguished Fellow and Professor of Communication and Management at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad.

He has a background in the engineering industry, international civil service, tourism development and has served a range of development institutions in India and overseas, particularly in the sectors of drinking water, sanitation, disability, livelihoods and education in many parts of the country.

An author and writer, his books include Dances of the Golden Hall and Rising.

Kiran Nadar

Kiran Nadar is the Chairperson of the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in Delhi, and a trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation.

Besides being an avid art collector and a sports enthusiast, she is an acclaimed international bridge player.

She was acknowledged as a ‘hero of philanthropy’ by Forbes Asia Magazine in 2010 for launching India’s first philanthropic private museum of modern and contemporary art.

Ishaat Hussain

Ishaat Hussain graduated in economics from St Stephens College, New Delhi and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA).

He joined the board of Tata Sons as executive director in July 1999 and holds several key positions in other companies within the Tata group. Prior to joining Tata Sons, Hussain was senior vice president and executive director of finance at Tata Steel for almost 10 years. 

Hussain is a member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) committees on insider trading and primary capital markets. 

Sheba Chhachhi

Sheba Chhachhi is an installation artist, photographer, activist, and writer based in New Delhi. Chhachhi was born in Harar, Ethiopia in 1958 and studied at Delhi University and the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

Her installations address an ongoing concern with women, visual cultures, urban ecologies, memory, violence, the question of personal/political transformation, and the play between the mythic and social.

Rathi Vinay Jha (Chairperson)

Rathi Vinay Jha is a former Director General at the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), after a distinguished career in the Government of India, spanning several years.

An IAS officer of the 1967 batch, Rathi retired as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. One of the founders of NIFT, she served as its Executive Director from 1987-93.
