Darshana Dave has over four years of experience in donor and project management as Manager: Institutional Projects at India Foundation for the Arts (IFA). She is responsible for fundraising from institutional partners, along with the Executive Director. Darshana works with corporate partners to create and manage artistic and cultural engagements of the Foundation. She also assists on the research projects that IFA undertakes. Darshana has postgraduate degrees in counselling psychology and broadcast journalism, and has varied experience in those fields before joining IFA. In her earlier avatar, she has worked with the American criminal justice system as a therapist and is a trained rape crisis and crime victims’ advocate. She also has been a journalist in Gujarat and Boston, and has taught undergraduate courses in media and ethics at Marist College in New York. For her MA in Broadcast Journalism, she made a 22-minute documentary that was screened at two film festivals in the United States. Darshana loves theatre, social media, rollercoasters, writing letters, and taking photographs.
