Darshana has a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY and a Master’s in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College, Boston, MA.
She has worked as a therapist and is a trained rape crisis and crime victims’ advocate. She has worked with the American criminal justice system in both these capacities.
Darshana has also worked as a print journalist in Gujarat and a broadcast journalist (TV/Radio) in Boston and taught undergraduate media courses in New York. For her Master’s in Broadcast Journalism, Darshana made a 22 minute documentary that was screened at two film festivals in the United States.
Darshana loves theatre, writing letters and rollercoasters.
