Harshita Bathwal

Programme Officer: Arts Research

Harshita Bathwal is a writer and researcher. She has completed her PhD in the Visual Studies programme from the School of Arts and Aesthetics at JNU, New Delhi (2017-2023). In her research, she studied the oeuvre of artist Nasreen Mohamedi. She is a recipient of JRF (2019) and DAAD grants for research (2019-20). She has completed the BARPS Teacher's Training Programme from Abhyas Studio in the BARPS method of Yoga, supervised by Dr Rishiraj Pathak and Navtej Johar (2022-23). She was associated with the Curatorial lab at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, supported by the Inlaks Foundation for three years. She was a co-curator at the Kochi Students' Biennale in 2016. 

Her interests include language, translation, theatre, movement, and the body.
