Bhargavi completed her graduate education in Visual Studies, specialising in Painting from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, and has a postgraduate degree in Art history from the University Of Hyderabad.
She received the Young Artist Scholarship, Ministry of Culture, in 2011, to study local arts practices in their local contexts. She worked as an academic assistant teaching Art History and Aesthetics, for a span of two years, at Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad.
Bhargavi has a keen interest in traditional art forms of South India, like Cheriyal Painting, Mysore Traditional Painting, and Tanjore Painting.
She is an amateur baker, is passionate about travelling, and likes to watch sitcoms during her time off work.
